Concept

In-App Announcements let you display targeted messages directly in your users' app, via the same widget as the changelog. No code deployment needed after the initial widget installation.

Create an Announcement

  1. Dashboard → "Announcements" section → "New Announcement"
  2. Choose the format (Banner, Modal, Slideout, Tooltip)
  3. Write the content:
    • Title (optional for banners)
    • Body: rich text or markdown
    • CTA: button text + destination URL
    • Image: optional (upload or URL)
  4. Configure behavior:
    • Dismissible: user can close or not
    • Position: top, bottom (banner), center (modal), left/right (slideout)
    • Frequency: show once, show once per session, always show
  5. Schedule (optional):
    • Start date/time
    • End date/time (automatic expiration)
  6. Target (
    Enterprise
    plan):
    • By user attribute (plan, role, etc.)
    • By URL (shown only on specific pages)
  7. Publish or save as draft

Announcement Analytics

For each active announcement, the following metrics are available:

  • Impressions: number of times displayed
  • Clicks (CTR): number of CTA clicks
  • Dismissals: number of closings
  • Conversion rate: clicks / impressions
