Built by makers, for makers
We're the team behind Origami Marketplace. We needed a better way to share product updates with our users, so we built one.
Our story
We run Origami Marketplace, a platform with thousands of users who rely on us every day. Every time we shipped a feature or fixed a bug, we had the same problem: how do we tell our users about it?
We tried everything. Notion pages nobody visited. Slack messages that got buried. Email blasts that felt spammy. Writing polished release notes took hours every sprint, and most of the time we just skipped it.
So we built an internal tool. Something simple: paste your commits or bullet points, let AI clean it up, publish it to a changelog page and push it to users via a widget. It worked so well that our users started asking "what tool do you use for your changelogs?"
That's when we realized we weren't the only team struggling with this. We polished the tool, added announcements and email digests, and opened it up. That became ReleaseGlow.
